Changing your Screen Resolution

right click on the desktop
-
in the menu that comes up on the
screen go to "properties"

this will bring up a dialogue box

in the box go to the last tab
that "settings" (at the top of the dialogue box

on this page you can change the
resolution

to see what a curtain resolution
is select the resolution and press "apply" make sure not to press
"ok" or "enter" because if the monitor can not handle that
resolution you might not be able to change it back
Using apply will allow you to view
the resolution to the screen. If you can't view anything on the
screen it will restore to the earlier setting after 15 seconds. So
do not press "enter"
